Microsoft Teams combines chat, call and video conferencing for teamwork

Content and chat histories from team or private chats can be viewed by everyone at any time. Meetings for smaller groups are easy to plan. This also applies to the whole team.

Relevant information is collected using the OneNote notebook. OneNote offers very good search functions to search through all notes. Text can even be extracted from images using the integrated OCR functionality.

Team members add a SharePoint document library to manage documents. They create new documents or view and edit existing ones. Microsoft Teams uses the full functionality of a document library.

Important findings or information are recorded in a team wiki and are thus visible to all members of the team.

Microsoft Teams enables shared calendar management with all team members. Relevant appointments can be entered there. Every team member can view them.

A separate mailbox is set up for each team. Each team decides for itself whether an e-mail is forwarded to the personal mailbox of a team member. Alternatively, it can only be viewed in the team mailbox.

Microsoft offers its own app for Teams for Android and iOS.

The entire Teams workspace and the tools described above can be configured individually for each team. In addition, important services, data and applications can be added to the workspace. Examples include Wrike, Hootsuite, Smartsheet and Sapho.
