In the past, each client had to be set up individually and manually equipped with the necessary software. Today, software distribution is automatic and standardized.

    The automatic and standardized software distribution by Leuchter has many advantages:

    Central overview

    Any software is packaged centrally and parameterized according to your individual requirements. This package can then be distributed to any computer groups and their installation status monitored. Detailed information on the status of software distribution or software usage can be displayed via the dashboard or individual reports. The central software repository can be used not only for company-internal computers, but also for Internet computers (non-domain joined) or company computers at other locations.

    Software on demand

    InLeuchter CLOUD 's own software catalog, common applications are made available to end users in a web front end. The end user can independently install software from the software catalog, which must be approved by another department if required. This means that individual user or management requirements can be optimally fulfilled and efficiently implemented.

    Software distribution guarantees client compliance

    Using the software distribution service from theLeuchter CLOUD, you can define a standard set of settings that must be active for a group of clients. This means that certain security or application settings can be defined and checked centrally. Non-compliance settings can also be cleaned up automatically. This option supports you in your efforts to maintain a standardized and secure IT infrastructure.

    Extended patch management

    It is difficult to set up modern patch management with Windows' on-board resources. Using the software distribution service, you can divide the clients into test and production groups, for example, and freely select the installation time. Furthermore, optional and private hotfixes that are not included in the standard catalog can be easily distributed to all clients. To obtain an overview of the up-to-dateness and general status of the patches across all clients, individual reports can be created which can be sent automatically using subscriptions.

    Internet Based Management

    Client compliance, software on demand and extended patch management also work when the client is not in the company network. This means that external employees who only access the company IT infrastructure via the internet can be served easily and reliably.
