    Microsoft 365 backup on Azure

    With Microsoft 356, Microsoft enables access to Office applications from anywhere. Thanks to the powerful communication tools Exchange Online, OneDrive and SharePoint Online, companies do not have to provide the complex infrastructure themselves. Sophisticated applications are thus outsourced to the cloud. The only disadvantage: Microsoft does not offer a backup for Office 365.

    With Microsoft 365, you always have your office with you, wherever you are! Regardless of whether you work online or offline, whether you use a computer, notebook, tablet or smartphone.

    Sufficiently backed up with Microsoft 365?

    When services are outsourced to the public cloud, there is often a misconception that they no longer need to be included in the backup concept. After all, the service level agreements ensure a high level of availability. However, there is a big difference between availability and recoverability. A system such as Exchange Online is considered available if e-mails can be sent and received. However, recoverability is not guaranteed.
    In order to be sufficiently protected in the following cases, a backup must not be dispensed with under any circumstances.

    • Data loss due to targeted sabotage
    • Data loss due to synchronization problems
    • Corrupt, unreadable data
    • Data damaged by malware
    • Accidentally deleted data
    • Expiring subscriptions accidentally not renewed

    Backup service for Microsoft 365 with Azure

    In the event of a complete loss of Office 365 data, Microsoft promises to restore the service and data. This process can take weeks under certain circumstances and does not guarantee 100% recovery of all data. If the rate were 99%, this would mean that with one million customers, 10,000 customers would still be without data. Not a good prospect. We close this gap for you by performing a backup on Microsoft Azure in a backup cycle specified by you. In the event of a system failure, the data from Azure can be restored simply and easily.
